Description of Coaching
Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a facilitated and creative process that inspires the Client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation and development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
1. Client-Coach Relationship
a. As a Client, I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my physical, mental, and emotional well-being during my face to face or online Coaching sessions, including my choices and decisions.
b. I understand that “Coaching” is a Professional-Client relationship I have with my Coach designed to facilitate the creation and development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
c. I understand that Coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of my life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education, and recreation. I acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporating Coaching into those areas, and implementing my choices is exclusively my responsibility.
d. I understand that Coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of any mental disorders, physical dysfunctions and past or current physcial injuries. Coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment, and I will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
e. I promise that if I am currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, I have consulted with that provider regarding the advisability of working with a Coach and that this person is aware of my decision to proceed with the Coaching relationship.
f. I understand that information in the form of images, videos and or text will be held confidential unless I state otherwise, in writing, except as required by law.
g. I understand that certain topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other Coaching professionals for training or consultation purposes.
h. I understand that Coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice from legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual, or other qualified professionals. I will seek independent professional guidance for these matters. I acknowledge that all decisions in these areas are exclusively mine, and I accept sole responsibility for my decisions and actions regarding them.
2. Services
The parties agree to engage in one-on-one, group, and/or online Coaching. The provision of learning syllabi and access to digital content platforms is agreed upon for the time period specified within this Agreement or for as long as services are remunerated to the Coach. The Client understands that successful Coaching requires a co-active collaborative approach between the Client and Coach. In this relationship, the Coach facilitates change, but it is the Client's responsibility to enact or bring about that change.
3. Fees & Credit Card Authorisation & Receipt
The client is responsible for payment amounts based on the agreed subscription, payment plan, or upfront costs for services/products provided by the Coach. If paying by debit card or credit card, the Client gives the Coach permission to automatically charge the Client’s credit card based on the selected payment plan. If the Client provides credit card information for payment, the Coach is authorised to charge the Client’s credit card(s) for any unpaid charges. If the Client uses a multiple-payment plan, the Coach shall be authorised to make all charges when due without separate authorisation.
4. Confidentiality
All information about the Coach-Client relationship will remain strictly confidential, except in very rare circumstances as mandated by law. Clients should be aware of the risks associated with using technology for communication. If Clients use these technologies to communicate with the Coach, it will be assumed appropriate to continue doing so.
5. Release of Information
Topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other Coaching professionals and Clients for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and Coach professional development or consultation purposes.

After this two-week period, any unused session will be forfeited without a refund.
